Santa Rosa Marathon…

Training for the Santa Rosa Marathon was a bit of an unorthodox training cycle for me as I had the motivation and time to train, but I was dealing with an achilles and hamstring injury daily. To combat this I focused on easy runs and getting in as many miles as I could and becoming aerobically fit. There was not a day that went by that I did not worry about if I would be able to complete the race because of injury, but the miles paid off and I was able to win the race and set a course record.
